| VICTIMS OF ABORTION SPEAK OUT THE VOICE OF EXPERIENCE Women Tell Their Stories |
| I am a mother of four beautiful children. At the age of 20 and 21 I had two abortions. This experience left me very cold and unemotional. At the age of 22 I became very interested in childbirth and midwifery which I studied on my own along with a group of women. At 24 I became pregnant and gave birth to a baby who shortly died after birth. I later gave birth to 2 beautiful and healthy sons. While attending a meeting at church on abortion I saw "The Silent Scream". From then I started to "think" about abortion; a healing process started. I gave my testimony to different churches and high schools on the devastating effects of abortion on women (among other facets). I am still wondering about how much abortion can affect a woman and her family. I have suffered depression in cycles, and I think I see a strong link between the repressed emotions and the depression. I want to know more. Thank you for your help. Lucie |
