| "Hear my cry, O G-D, attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto Thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the Rock that is higher than I" [Psalm 61:1-2] ====================================================================================== "Have mercy upon me, O G-D, according to Thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of Thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: And my sin is ever before me. Against Thee, Thee alone, have I sinned, and done this evil in Thy sight. That Thou mightest be justified when Thou speakest, and be clear when Thou judgest. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity: And in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, Thou desirest truth in the inward parts. And in the hidden part Thou shall make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hysop, and I shall be clean. Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness that the bones which Thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide Thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniqui- ties. Create in me a clean heart, O G-D, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from Thy presence: and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation, and uphold me with Thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors Thy ways, and sinners shall be converted unto Thee. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O G-D, Thou G-D of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Thy right- eousness. O L-RD, open Thou my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Thy praise. For Thou desirest not sacrifice, else would I give it: Thou delightest not in burnt offerings. The sacrifices of G-D are a brokenspirit: A broken and contrite heart, O G-D, Thou will not despise. Do good in Thy good pleasure unto Zion: Build Thou the walls of Jerusalem. Then shall Thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering. Then shall they offer bullocks upon Thine altar" [Psalm 51:1-19]. ================================================================================================== Be merciful unto me, O G-D, be merciful unto me: For my soul trusteth in Thee. Yea, in the shadow of Thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpassed. I will cry unto G-D most high, unto G-D that performeth all things for me. He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Se'lah. G-D shall send forth His mercy and His truth" [Psalm 57:1-3].. ================================================================================================== "For Thou, L-RD, art good, and ready to forgive, and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee. Give ear, O L-RD unto my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble I will call upon Thee: For Thou wilt answer me" [Psalm 86:5-7]. ================================================================================================== "Bless the L-RD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name. Bless the L-RD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities: Who healeth all thy diseases. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies: Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things: so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles. The L-RD executeth righteous- ness and judgment for all who are oppressed" [Psalm 103:1-6]. ================================================================================================== I waited patiently for the L-RD; and He inclined unto Me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our G-D: Many shall see it and fear, and shall trust in the L-RD" [Psalm 40:1-3] ================================================================================================== "Blessed be the L-RD, because He hath heard the voice of my supplications. The L-RD is my strengh and my shield, my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth, and with my song will I praise Him. The L-RD is their strength, and He is the saving strength of His anointed. Save Thy People, and bless Thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up forever" [Psalm 28:6-9] ================================================================================================ "I will extol Thee, O L-RD for Thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. O L-RD my G-D, I cried unto Thee and Thou hast healed me. O L-RD Thou has brought up my soul from the grave: Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing unto the L-RD, O ye saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His Holiness. For His anger endureth but a moment; In His favor is life: Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. L-RD, by Thy favor Thou hast made my mountain to stand strong. Thou didst hide Thy face and I was troubled. I cried to Thee, O L-RD, and unto the L-RD I made my supplication. What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise Thee? Shall it declare Thy truth? Hear, O L-RD, and have mercy upon me: L-RD be Thou my helper. Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing. thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; to the end that my glory may sing praise to Thee, and not be silent. O L-RD my G-D, I will give thanks unto Thee forever" [Psalm 30:1-12]. ============================================================================================================= Out of the depths have I cried to You. O L-RD hear my voice. Let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. If Thou, L-RD, shouldest mark iniquities, O L-RD, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared. I wait for Thee L-RD, my soul doth wait, and in His Word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the L-RD more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that wait for the morning. Let Israel hope in the L-RD: For with the L-RD there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption. And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities" (Psalm 130). ============================================================================================================== I cried unto Thee O L-RD, I said Thou art my Refuge, and my portion in the land of the living. Attend unto my cry, for I am brought very low, deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than I. Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise Thy Name, the righteous shall compass me about, for Thou shalt deal bountifully with me" [Psalm 142:5-7]. ============================================================================================================== "G-d is our Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will we not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Se'lah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of G-D, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. G-D is in the midst of her: she shall not be moved: G-D shall help her, and that right early." [Psalm 46:1-5]. ================================================================================================= "My soul, wait thou only upon G-D, for my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation. He is my defense, I shall not be moved. In G-D is my salvatoin and my glory: the Rock of my strength, and my Refuge is in G-D. Trust in Him at all times, ye people, pour out your heart before Him. G-D is a Refuge for us. Se'lah" [Psalm 62:5-8] ================================================================================================= "In Thee, O L-RD do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. Deliver me in Thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: Incline Thine ear unto me and save me. Be Thou my strong habitation whereunto I may continually resort. Thou hast given commandment to save me, for Thou art my Rock and my Fortress" [Psalm 71:1-3] ================================================================================================= "I love the L-RD, because He hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because He hath inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the Name of the L-RD, O L-RD, I beseech Thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the L-RD, and righteous; yea, our G-D is merciful. The L-RD preserveth the simple. I was brought low, and He helped me. Return unto thy rest, O my soul, for the L-RD hath dealth bounti- fully with thee. For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. I will walk before the L-RD in the land of the living. I believed, therefore have I spoken. I was greatly afflicted. I said in my haste, all men are liars. What shall I render unto the L-RD for all His benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the Name of the L-RD. I will pay my vows unto the L-RD now in the presence of all His people. " [Psalm 116:1-14]. ================================================================================================ Comfort ye, comfort ye MY people, saith your G-D. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, for she hath received of the L-RD's hand double for all her sins" [Isaiah 40:1-2] =============================================================================================================== "The Spirit of the L-RD G-D is upon me, because the L-RD hath anointed me to: preach good tidings unto the meek, He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound, To proclaim the acceptable year of the L-RD, and the day of vengeance of our G-D, To comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the L-RD, that He might be glorified" [Isaiah 61:1-3]. ============================================================================================================== 'Thus saith the L-RD: A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children, refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. Thus saith the L-RD; 'Refrain thy voice from weeping and thine eyes from tears: For thy work shall be rewarded, saith the L-RD: And they shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the L-RD, that thy children shall come again to their own border. [Jeremiah 31:15-17]. ============================================================================================================= Blessed be G-D even the FATHER of our L-RD JESUS CHRIST, The FATHER of mercies, and the G-D of all comfort: Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of G-D. [II Cor. 1:3-4]. ================================================================================================= Dear L-RD, I shall honor You even more "When it shall appear what all You have done for me - what graces You have granted me. L-RD, You can yet do greater things for me if I will only trust You. You can carry me upon eagles' wings and enable me to persevere to the end, to live by faith, and to finish my course with joy! I am eternally Yours! Amen. |
