A Haven of Rest
by Eva
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" -- Matthew 5:4
I long to dwell in quiet fields where peaceful waters flow
And dance merrily in the sun with both lilacs and merrigold.
Away from all the hurt and pain; a world set apart for me.
A place where I can often come where my heart feels secure and free.
I close my eyes and listen to stillness lacing the air.
Thin threads of gold and silver, shimmering, no cares or burdens there.
It's a special place set apart for me; a beautiful garden divine
Where the sweet fragrance of G-d's holy love has become my oil and wine.
