THE PERSON BEHIND THE MASK Continued Pg. 2
"Away with her!" the whole crowd jeered. But there was One Who'd made His way near. He reached out to her. Yes, Love had His way and another broken heart was healed on that day.
HEALING, DELIVERANCE, AND RESTORATION
Only G-D's forgiveness can bring about the healing, deliverance, and restoration of broken hearts and lives. Facing the truth hurts deeply. The reason many continue to live in defeat is because they have not allowed G-D to have His perfect way in their lives. Desperately hurting people need to hear the "Good News" that there is hope for the hopeless. "For G-D so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). He was sent to set the captives free; to open the prison doors to those who are bound; to heal the brokenhearted; to proclaim the year of G-D's favor; to comfort all who mourn; and to give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:1-3). It takes an act of faith on our part to believe G-D at His Word. My prayer for you is that you will confront the person behind the mask of rationalization and denial in your own life, and surrender yourself to G-D. It is then that you will find Mercy sitting on the throne. G-D loves you more than you can ever imagine, and it is His desire to set you free from the chains of your sinful past.
PRAYER
"Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive me of all my sins. I acknowledge responsibility for my sins and I will confess them all to You. I will no longer endeavor to hide them, or to suppress the convictions of my guilt. Against You alone have I committed my transgressions. You alone are my Refuge and Hope of permanent peace. I acknowledge that there is nothing good in me. I can never obtain heaven by my own good merit, only by faith in You. When I deserved death, I found new life by You. When I deserved condemnation, Your love embraced me. When I deserved Your judgement, I found mercy sitting upon Your throne. Thank You, L-RD, for loving me so much that You laid down Your life to pay the penalty for all my sins [past, present, and future]. I now invite You to come into my heart and life as my L-RD, my G-D, my SAVIOR, my REDEEMER, and my KING. Baptize me in Your Holy Spirit, Who alone can empower me to live a victorious life in You. Thank You, L-RD, for hearing and receiving my prayer. In Your Holy Name I pray, Amen."
ONWARD, UPWARD, HAND IN HAND Poem by Eva
Hand in hand, we took our journey through the corridors of the past, Where embedded fears, and torment; overwhelming shadows cast. There I'd found a cold, dark prison, but the doors were opened wide. Though I was free, I'd lived in bondage; I'd believed the devil's lies. There my Savior stood beside me, loving me through every turn. How my heart leaped deep within me as I watched past bridges burn. "Blessed Savior, please forgive me. Help me never to doubt again As we journey onward, upward, You and I, [L-RD] hand in hand."
"G-D's UNFAILING LOVE" Poem by Eva
Abortion is sin and therefore must be addressed as sin. When a person is involved in taking an innocent life, one may believe that G-D's forgiveness is not enough. If you've suffered an abortion, or have played a major role in abortion's decision, please know that G-D loves you and that His love and forgiveness are more than enough. His Holy Word says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteous-ness" (John 1:9). Everything that has separated you from the love of G-D needs to be confessed before Him. Don't allow the enemy of your soul to convince you that your sin was too great. There is no sin so great that our G-D cannot forgive, nor wound so deep that His love cannot heal. Our Heavenly Father desires to bring true and lasting peace into your life, and He will do it if you will only allow Him to. I pray that in your desperation, you will look up to see G-D's arms of love opened wide to you. Today can be the first day of your brand new life. I invite you to pray the following prayer with me.
"You turned my wailing into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to You and not be silent. O L-RD my G-D, I will give You thanks forever" -- Psalm 30:11-12
